Shiatsu awakens the energy within
Shiatsu is a treatment based on the knowledge of of Chinese medicine. Like accupuncture, shiatsu uses the body's energy points to restore lost balance and regain healing power.
By applying pressure with the hands, thumbs and elbows to points on the body, shiatsu works on the person's energy, as well as stretching and mobilizing joints.

Ki is considered the life force within each of us, driving the vital organs and our energy levels. It follows meridians and the access points are called tsubos.
Recharging the meridians with Ki can initiate deep healing of the mind and body, releasing pain, tension and associated symptoms.
The Benefits of Shiatsu

Healing process

If a child falls and hurts himself, he will take comfort in the arms of his parents or his carer, perhaps cry loudly then return to play as if nothing had happened.
At this age, a child is still in touch with his ki energy. No deep tension blocks the flow and through the act of receiving comfort and reassurance, his ki energy resumes and self-healing occurs.

Traumas arise when physical and emotional shocks have not been acknowledged and the body has not been able to self-heal, building up tension. Over time, additional shocks and tensions accumulate and the body is increasingly less able to self-heal. It becomes more and more difficult for this life force to circulate within the body. These deep tensions can create chronic pain and lead to illness. Shiatsu pressure allows us to awaken this dormant life energy within.
Over a series of sessions, tensions are released and traumas alleviated. The number of sessions required varies as we are all unique, each with own rhythm and personality but the sense of self-healing begins immediately.
Seiki
A Seiki treatment is:
making space for energy,
opening and allowing,
fully inhabiting our entire body.
Why aren't we always completely at ease in our bodies?
Why do we sometimes experience emotions that block us, preventing us from enjoying life, even when we "should" be happy?
Because emotions are energy. To feel alive, our energy must flow freely. The nature of energy is movement.
For various reasons—difficult emotional experiences, falls, accidents, illnesses—certain areas of our body can become rigid. These blockages create knots and tensions that hinder us physically, emotionally, and mentally. These areas become "uninhabited" parts of us, where life is frozen, because we no longer know how to access them or because it frightens us.
Seiki energy is the original energy of life. It flows naturally through our bodies. During a Seiki session, the practitioner uses their own energy to create resonance and provide the necessary space for the release of blockages.
The goal: to reconnect with our body as a whole, restore unity, and rediscover our vital energy. This rekindles the desire to live and allows us to fully realize our potential.
Life would be meaningless if it were created to be a burden.

I started to practice do-in during my shiatsu training, before starting to learn, we worked on circulating our own energy through stretching, breathing and self-shiatsu. This practice allows me to stay in shape and to be able to communicate healthy energy to my patients. And why not share this knowledge with them? So that they can acquire a certain autonomy and learn the secrets of energy circulation on themselves. This is why I began to transmit these exercises developed by Shizuto Matsunaga Sensei, founder of iokai shiatsu. Matsunaga Sensei, after spending years treating people with his Shiatsu realized that although Shiatsu was a very effective healing method, it required another step of personal participation to achieve perfect health.

Born and raised in France, Alice began practising Zen meditation in 1996, and it was at a Zen dojo in Paris that she met a great Japanese shiatsu master, Sasaki Sensei, who came to teach shiatsu.
She was moved by this healing practice, and for the next 5 years, she trained herself in the art of shiatsu.
​
And because she loves learning and is keen to deepen her knowledge, she is now studying seiki. Seiki is the continuation of shiatsu founded by a disciple of Matsunaga, Kishi.

Supporting the child through touch, with gentleness and presence.
A child’s body is in constant movement — growing, adapting, exploring.
Shiatsu and Seiki offer a space where the child can recentre, relax, and return to their natural balance.
Through a light, attentive, and respectful touch, the child learns to inhabit their body, to feel, and to release what was being held.
Each session invites the energy to flow freely again — allowing tensions, emotions, or fatigue to gently transform.
Shiatsu helps regulate the nervous system, support immunity, and ease common imbalances such as sleep issues, restlessness, anxiety, or difficulties with focus.
Seiki, on the other hand, creates space for the body’s spontaneous movements and the natural intelligence of life to unfold.
